Due to some internal differences within our party, we are sorry to say that Erphun’s apperance at MNML will not be taking place. Ali is a very cool cat and we respect his craft dearly, we just hit a bump in the road and lost some cargo. This has caused us to take a conservative route and hold back a bit till we rebuild our foundation. We are sincerely sorry for letting you guys down as we reorganize, so we are FREE all night with the sounds of our residents!

MNML OC 1 Year Anniversary feat. Vealchop! Friday November 20th @ Avalon Bar in Orange County !
guest dj:
Collecting vinyl for over ten years and accumulating a very impressive record collection, music is Vealchop’s life. Music is his expression, selections for any session. Mainly rocking underground warehouse parties in Los Angeles area, Veal also selects music for fashion shows, art shows, and other multi-media events.
Vealchop has played along sides with John Tejada, Titonton Duvante, Justin Long, [a]pendics Shuffle, Maetrik, Acid Circus, Steve Loria, Crazy Larry, Mikael Stravostrand, Abe Duque, Alexander East, Blackliquid, and many others. Veal has had the chance to rock the decks in Northern California, Mexico, Chicago, Germany, and Poland.
Systematically arranging mixes, blends, and experimental sound collisions. Collecting, contracting, building, and releasing. The Chopper’s job is to push boundaries and put forth new and unfound music for the ears of curiosity. Explorations through time, space, and sound. Always moving, taking shape and constantly changing. It is not just playing records. For Vealchop there is always too much vinyl and too little time.
Tirelessly selecting all types of music from House, Techno, Minimal, Advanced Electro, Fine Electronics, Downtempo, Heady Mid-Tempo Beats, Broken Beats, Dubstep, Old-Skool Jungle, Holographic Breaks, Roots+Rockers+Reggae+Dub, Soul, Funk, Fusion Jazz and mainly deep music that moves. He is all about presenting diversity with fluidity. There is really no type of show this vinyl-mastermind can’t adapt to.

The Consummate Professional. The words depict the image of an individual with a straight forward, effective approach who can quickly grasp control of a situation and yield the desired result. That very phrase captures Mark Kane. The native New Yorker, has built a solid reputation amongst promoters and club-goers alike for bringing the best (and not necessarily most well-known) tracks coupled with world class mixing. His
blend of tough tech house with griity techno has helped him emerge quickly from the depths of New York scene.
His discography includes remixes on labels from North and South America: Knob Records (NYC), Reticent Recordings (Canada) and Brazil Underground Studios (Brazil)
Now living in Los Angeles, Mark is working through a full production schedule (with remixes for artists as ranging from Home Video to DJ Thee-O & Steve Prior) as well as putting together several exclusive DJ mixes for radio shows and podcasts around the globe: Viva La Tech (US), Weekend Windup (US), Radio Sharm (Egypt), Nile FM (Egypt), Global
Vibes (Greece) and Radio LFO (France).
Slated for 2009, Mark is working on various remix projects as well as releasing some of his own material. We expect Mark to continue to make a name for himself amongst the heavyweights of the Tech House scene.

CK (aka Christopher K. Nelson) went to his first party with a 4/4 beat in
1998 and has never looked back. Constantly in awe of the complete and utter
control a DJ in the zone has over his or her crowd, he decided it was time
to get on the decks himself in 2001. He prides himself in having learned on
vinyl, but the digital revolution has astly expanded his horizons while keeping
his bank account (and back) in check. In the early days it was Doc Martin
and Mark Farina that defined his style, buthe has since been sucked into the
vast expanse of tech-house, electro house and techno coming from both sides
of the Atlantic. Justin Martin, Zodiac Cartel, Loco Dice, JELO, Yankee Zulu,
Format:B, Umek, Paul Ritch and Riva Starr are just a few of the many
DJ/producers who float his proverbial boat.
Forming over a year ago, Kane and Guns emerged on the scene with a
passion for minimal music. As long time fans of electronic music the
two members of the group draw inspiration from DJs and electronic
artists all over the world and never hesitate to incorporate a wide
variety of sounds and styles into their music production. Many of
their past mixtapes draw heavily on minimal-tech, minimal-house, and
dubstep styles, though the two have been known to sample and utilize
hip-hop lyrics for an added twist. Recently, Kane and Guns have been
into artists such as Koen Groeneveld, Charles Gudagafva, Umek, and
Stephan Bodzin, to name a few.
Martel has been been a connoisseur of electronic dance music since 1999.
In 2007 with his vinyl collection in hand, he stepped behind the decks and
hasn't looked back. Over the past 10 years his taste in EDM has become more
refined, his heart used to beat at 140 bpm's but these days he has slowed
down to 122 bpm's. This closet trance fanatic enjoy's listening and playing
various forms of house, techno and minimal. Some of his influences include
John Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg, Dave Dresden, Steve Bug, Joel Mull,
Nic Fanciulli, James Zabiela, M.A.N.D.Y, Booka Shade and the
Los Angeles based trio DROOG.

Feeling a growing urge to expand his musical
styling beyond D&B after running Muse for
6 years, Phear took on the 4-beat world under
the new moniker of Sucio. The genres of
Tech-Electro-Progressive House and Techno became
a growing excitement. Soon the guys at Respect
asked him to host a monthly on their patio-
Firme. News spread and he and partner Kingpin
then hosted a monthly for Bassrush
at Cinespace called Kaleidoscope. Though the
event was short-lived, it was evident that these
genres were going to be part of the Sucio
repertoire as long as he remained behind the
decks. Sucio currently DJs for the Standard Hotel
Hollywood playing just about every type of
lounge-friendly music, and is a partner behind
both the Kuru and Shame On You duos. You can also
find his visual work displayed on the Media
Contender blog where he stands as the site’s art
director and photography lead.
